Did everyone see the S2 sold on ebay (Item number: 4500328434) for £3,350.00

I thought prices were going up not down

I was looking at this one with a view to buying it, doing it up and selling on, but there were a few things that the seller never revealed in the advert opting for a "if you dont ask you wont know policy"


Tha car had been an insurance write off, nothing major it was for a interior fire I am told, probably the TVR electrics. But because of this the dash was pretty poorly re-covered and the seats were in dire need of recovering along with a few other minor jobs. My take on this is someone got a car for a reasonable price given whats needed to be done and its status but its not a bargain or a benchmark for other S2's. And it was a S1.5 not an S2?

Don't judge a book by it's proverbial cover eh!

Generally, you would expect to pay upwards of £5k and one at £5k would need tidying or repairs IMHO.
