Time to spill the beans...

Having previously arranged for Stone Cold to buy his S3C, which as a lot of you know used to belong to Mr Plow, I purchased it last weekend. I couldn't turn down the chance to own such a great car with the best type of S Series bonnet ever made (to me anyway!), especially as it has so many of the upgrades my current car has like the roll bar, bigger brakes, etc etc...

Unlike Dave M, for me the arrival of a new TVR means the existing one has to go cry I've enjoyed owning 2 for 7 days, but today I sold my S2 to Adam from Newark. He's already on PH so hopefully we'll see him in this forum soon.

It was not an easy decision - I've been lucky enough to do some amazing things in G91 RBV, things that I'd often thought about but did not expect to ever happen, such as a convoy of S's following me to the Alps. Twice.

I've checked the history of 'the blue one' and have been assured it's never been spun at the Ring, it's not been used in the snow in the Alps and has always been driven at below 3500rpm hehe

Over some (hopefully) quiet time over Xmas I'll work out what to do about next year's Euro Tour so I can properly bond with 'the blue one' wink

He he, only kidding mate, as you know I'm glad its gone to you (no offense intended Adam) and it does of course mean Mr Plow will be able to continue to service it for many years to come, lucky lad

Let me know if you want an M3 Conv lurking behind you all (rear gunner, carrying the spares) on the next trip

Glenrobbo to Blue Leader:

Congratulations Longers, blue is the best colour, we all know that wink

I kind of figured out who was the new owner as soon as Mr. Cold announced that this lovely S had been sold. It couldn't have gone to a more worthy recipient.
So from now on, it's dry summer use only, no doughnuts or excessive revs, no racing or rallying, strictly use for high days & holidays. A definite future as a totally cosseted Garage Queen. cloud9

Yeah right! biggrin ENJOY JOY.

Glenrobbo to Blue Leader, Roger, over & out....... wink

( Sorry Roger smile )

Dale, don't forget that in between 1st & 2nd S I did own a chimaera. And don't call me "surly" hehe

I genuinely don't know mate but will come up with something over the next week or 2. Some people watch TV or read a new book over Xmas. I'll have my head in a road atlas and be playing with online route planning software wink

Nice one Han. Good to see that luverly bonnet ( cloud9 ) keeping in front of the ("it's not pink"!) chimaera despite the extra weight it's carrying...

Check your bank account and you'll find my "tenth" in there!

There we have it, confirmation that BMW drivers (and in your case riders) are a bunch of "rear gunners" rofl

Rear gunners - bravest of the brave at the back of those Lancs over Germany, did someone say Germany, mmmmm wonder what might be there smile
