Hi all hope you all had a good Christmas, did a few hours on the car today, achieved nothing ! Was trying to put the body on so I could drill the body mounting holes with the intention of lifting it straight of again to paint the newly drilled holes then turn my attention to the front of the chassis/suspension rad mounts ect. I have heard the body needs to slide backwards because it's tapered (came off ok) trouble is it seems to need to come back a long way beyond the rear suspension which means lifting it quite high, any hints much appreciated

Hi
Lift it up from thr rear. I used a piece of 3 X 2, slid it under the wheel archs (one side to the other) and lifted it high to clear the suspension tops then pull it back.

took mine off by myself - block and tackle, two trolley jacks and ropes around the rafters. six people to lift it back on though. Yes the rear has to come up scarily high to clear the rear suspension before the front can come up.

Yes I took mine off myself, very straight forward compared with the reverse, thanks again
