Be gentle with a new owner

By next weekend I hope to be the owner of an 89 S2 which will be my first TVR, most people think I'm mad and they could be right. I've joined TVRCC, purchased the bible and still went out and brought a car which requires a little weekend attention, although from the forum entries it seems to be part of a loving ownership. As long as the mechanic 'says yes' tomorrow the deal will be sealed and I can look forward to repeating that stupid grin I had during the test drive. I'm looking forward entering into the fun of ownership with the other forum members and I'm sure that I will be calling on your help in the near future. Actually, whilst I'm here can anyone recommend a good alarm company in Essex as the one fitted does not work. Thanks
