Hello everyone, does anyone get a bit frustrated when an interesting topic comes up......but you have to scroll through the first pages before you get to the latest post in the thread.

Is there anyway to set up the forum so that we can read the latest post first?

Regards,

Chris

??????????

Not sure what you mean, on my phone ( it's all I've got )
the latest postings are always at the top of the page ( well, under the blue sticky section of topics. )

Perhaps I'm just lucky.

Or perhaps it's because I'm a frequent visitor to the site, so I read everything before it gets 'buried'. smile

Edit: You could save your fave topics to "bookmarks" ?

Hi All
If there is 10 posts and you look at the last first, you might see the answer before you ask the question

Not sure if this is what you mean but, taking the "S Club Euro Tour 2014" thread as an example, click on the picture of an arrow and a page with the corner folded over (just after the numbers in brackets) and you'll go to the last page/most recent posts?

Using the numbers you can select any page from the thread, what more could you want scratchchin

Take this thread as an example, 8 replies........but I have to scroll down to get to the last reply.
If you think about an email in Outlook, the latest reply appears first in the email.........just makes reading the thread faster.

.... But I spend hour after hour on PH to waste time wink

Worse case senario, a page containing lots of big photo's, might take a few seconds to scroll down?

If you don't know big word like wot Phillpot do then get your self a thesaurus laugh

Selecting the bit of a previous posters' contribution you want to refer to rather than quoting the whole thing, including photos, helps shorten the thread. As would removing those stupid adverts which pop up to the right.

Also in 'My Preferences' you can set the number of topics per page in increments from 5 to a max of 80. So as an example, setting to 80 reduces the Euro Tour thread to just three pages. As easy as an easy thing on an easy day thumbup
