Just went out to visit Newcastle train station, got to get a Young Person's Rail card and pick up some tickets for my London journey. Got outside to find a glorious day. Top down methinks. Half way to the train staion it occurred to me that I may have a photo at home, and that if I was quick I could wash the car as it hadn't been washed for over a week , but I only have an hour. Hmmmm....

So I went home and washed my car.

Have I gone too far?

Nah, Its a sign of your young and free life status, enjoy it while it lasts...

If I went home for a short time I'd get "DADDY" from the young-uns and never get anything done, or even worse my eldest likes to help me wash the car in her own special way!

Soon you'll wish for the days when you got such plesantries from your children, the communication will steadily deminish until it is a set of grunts and mumbles then off to Uni and you will hear from them once a week, then they move out and you speak to them once a month.

I know, my parent have 3 kids all in the rarely speaking phases.

Naa, not ober the edge Its a good thing that you take pride in your possessions, like to achieve things, and seek to make the most of what time you have.

Compared to the drunks and chavs out there, you are God

I might have done the same myself, if I had an hour that is...

I like the sound of the last bit, that's when I dream of putting a deposit down on a Koenisegg CCR
