....... I could be enjoying a wet drive home through some old stomping grounds with a sister for Tamy.

So. Went to see a car today. IMHO a diamond in the rough. So deal struck and Tamy has a sister Samy.

Drive home was the usual TVR fun despite the rain.

Wouldn't be a TVR without a breakdown and such was the case halfway home. Luckily t'was an easy fix. HT lead had come adrift. New set needed along with a rotor arm and distributor cap.

Going to call Austec tomorrow to see if they can undertake some trackday prep ahead of the 28th.

I'll sort some pics in due course. Lots to do over the next two days to make up for having yesterday off.

How come problems always arise when you're off?

I'm booked on Trackaction's Open Pit Lane day at Oulton Park on the 28th of Feb. I'd like to take Samy but it was booked with the Beast in mind.

There haven't been any TVRs on the last three days I've done frown

Right going to ring Austec now.

Stewart,
Oulton is a long way from Surrey, but not too far from me if the weather bucks up a bit.
Are spectators allowed?

You will need to check with Trackaction, but every Track day I have been on spectators are free and passengers in track cars are a nominal tenner or so for the whole day in any car, but you will need a helmet and to sign up on the day. You can then blag rides in anything you fancy.

As above. Spectators are allowed gratis and passengers are £15 IIRC (I booked it a while ago). They have a limited helmet hire too.

New HT leads, dist cap and rotor arm collected today. Will try and fit today or Monday morning (ahead of Austec visit).
