Austec Racing - very happy

Just got back from Austec Racing. They carried out a 30-min inspection of Samy. Had booked 2-hours but didn't take that long.

Worn engine mounts and steering ujs plus bushes. Other than that, a solid base.

Adjustable Koni suspension. Stainless brake hoses up front. Nice bonus. Exhaust, downpipes and manifolds unlikely to last long though. Maybe 12-months. I'll start the Plusgas now!

Probably get Austec to fix the steering and engine mounts.

They changed a broken vacuum hose FOC.

New HT leads, dist cap and rotor arm made a big difference too.

Informal sound test inside the garage - 85db. Samy is off to Oulton - as long as the above work gets done.

Austec were great. Sociable, chatty and knowledgeable. Hopefully they can fit in the repairs in time.
