braided brake hoses - best value and quick?

Stevsons did mine while I waited, made up from scratch, chim style hoses on the front, S rears

Very nicely done, supplied with nuts, shakeproof washers etc, and they checked to make sure all the threads were correct (mine was metric on the nose, imperial on the bum)

Got mine from Norton hydraulics in Braintree £60 + VAT

make your own = local rally emporium = use aeroquip I purchased hose and fittings, very easy to make what you need.

Wouldn't ever trust myself to do that sort of thing, I would never trust them.

I agree Barry, all brake hoses should be pressure tested to something like twice normal max braking pressures before being deemed fit for purpose.
This requires use of a calibrated test rig, which most peeps don't have access to.
There have been instances of hoses and end fittings parting company and this is most likely to happen when you're trying that extra bit harder to stop.
