..... one step back.
TVR ownership is a wonderful thing. I'm especially liking how you go to do a simple job and it leads to another and another and another.
Was hoping to get some things sorted for Oulton Park next Friday but it looks like I'll be struggling to get things sorted by the Euro Tour!
Lovin' it.

Tell me about it. Last August I was under my S2 checking my propshaft then noticed a small scab of rust on the f/n/s outrigger, a few minutes later I realised it needed replacing as did the main tubing cross brace piece that goes under the sump, then I noticed the engine mounts needed looking at!
I ended up replacing the gearbox mount, removing the propshaft to have it balanced then gave the chassis a good clean and a coat of Waxoyl.

In fairness I believe this is more to do with the age of the car and the little use it's seen in the last six years than it being a TVR thing. Although others are just vanity items of my own creation.
Steering column bush - led to steering UJs - led to engine mounts.
Rear lights dim - led to changing the light clusters - led to renewing the lamp holders - led to changing to LEDs - led to renewing the interior light - led to adding puddle lights - there's more to come on this as I'd like to sort the doors 'once' so to speak.
Front indicators damaged - led to new indicators and diferent cold air supply - led to new 5-inch lights - led to new main lights - led to new side repeaters - again more to come as I'm just putting things together.
Rear disc conversion - led to new servo plus guarding - I'm guessing this is going to lead to some polybushing too.
All the time Tamy is sitting there being patient .........

What did you use for the front indicators?Steering column bush - led to steering UJs - led to engine mounts.

I think the front lights can be 'updated' to freshen the look of the car. The 5 inch fog lights don't work on Samy or Tamy. Plus the indicators are cracked. Finally the output of the main beam is appalling.
I had originally thought to delete the side repeaters and add a set of mirrors with in built repeaters. I have dismissed this as I can't find a set small enoufh to suit the S. So I have some clear, round side repeaters and got a set of Mini clear front indicators to mount in the top grille slot. I like the halo main lights so what to swap out the main lights. Not sure what to do with the 5 inch 'fogs'.
