If you're splashing out on a nice "Poly" rear mount you may as well go all the way

Hi Glen, 'the rubber ones ONLY last 25 years'. Are you 'on' something better than me?;);) I think 25 years more would be fine for me!!!! By that time I certainly do not expect to be worrying about it!!
Any flexible component which lasts 25 years on a car has got to be good.
(Might be worth pointing out that the poly ones have yet to prove they can last anything like 25 years?)

Check those round mounts at the thin metal edge mine were cracked right through.I don't think they are Ford - probably just a standard compressor mounting or similar.

The V8S doesn't use that Ford bracket - I assume because it is not strong enough.
It has a bespoke bracket as below & mounts welded to the chassis.
