Can't get it off..!!!
Discussion
While happily stripping my S3's chassis ready for its major surgery I came up against a problem that I am hoping you guys can help me with.
I want to disconnect both the high pressure fuel lines from the engine. They seem to be connected with some sort of plastic conical device to the fuel regulator. There are also a couple of these plastic connectors in the fuel lines near the gearbox.
Does anyone have any idea how to disconnect them. The Haynes manual suggests a Ford tool or a pair of needle nosed pliers but I can't for the life of me see where to apply them??
Very frustrating.

I used a modified fork to remove one on my car !!.. basically at the top of the connector (mine have red tops) you will see two small cut out bits where the pipe connects in (opposite each other). what you need to do is push something like a fork or very small pliers into these cut out bits and push the round white clamp thing down, whilst holding this down you should be able to pull the connector apart !.
Hopefully this makes sense...
