Well, its a year since I purchased my TVR S2 and everything has gone smoothly. The car starts first time, everytime and runs and sounds beautiful. Apart from an annual service, the only outlays have been an otter fan switch and steering U J's. The main outley has been improving the car i.e seats recovered, new carpets etc. Never have to top the oil up and water top up is rare. I feel as though I have been lucky with this car, because about ten years ago I turned to my workmate and said I fancy a TVR and he replied don't bother it will spend more time in a garage being repaired than on the road. How wrong he was. It still puts a smile on my face everytime I drive it and I think this will be the same for years to come. You guys on here are a great help and make TVR ownership a great pleasure. I think we own a great little sportscar.

That's great to hear. The TVR S should be a reliable machine as it has straightforward Ford mechanical parts which shouldn't be particularly stressed in such a light car. Your cooling system must be working well if it's coping with Spanish summer weather, and you've obviously avoided ripping your exhaust system to pieces on humps, rough roads or farm tracks. Long may it continue!
