Just drove in to work today listening to Chris Moyles who played the introduction to Yan Hammers Crockets Theme. Now bear with me, not my most favourite tune but still pretty cool in an abstract way. Now this got me thinking, what aboiut a top ten of our favourite driving tunes. These drive time CD's you can buy always have half dozen songs you dont like so lets make our own list. I'll start with:
1. The Engine (obviously)
2. Sympathy for the devil- The Rolling Stones

Smoe cracking tunes so far. Dont know about Yello? Each to his own. Got me thinnking about the mission impossible now. Think it had something to do with the Edge from U2 somewhere along the lines. Adam F springs to mind but not sure. Keep trying to remember the tune and get the Saint soundtrack poping in there. How about:
Ride of the Valkyrie- Wagner(on the classic trip)
Foo Fighters - Monkey wrench
White stripes - seven nation army (prisoner esqu guitar lick)

Not a big White Stripes fan, but Foo Fighter you can't beat Hey Johnny Park or the classic Everlong.

Oh bolox
Can`t spell, even the spell checker don`t know what i`m goin on about half the time! Gives me a list of words and none of them are the one I want, I have to go back miss spell it again and see if the new list has the right word.
Obviously this has destroyed my possible career as a high paid exec and subjugated me to a working life of hard labor as a builder
The only consolation is that contact with plasterers and scaffolders in particular has hardened my sensitive sole to any pi55 taking.
I might add that listening to radio 4 my favorite prg being womans hour and the best soap in the world being the Archers has not helped my cause in the credibility stakes in the local building community, now I think of it isn`t Navarna a Nissan pickup?
Another problem is i stared writing this at 10 o`clock
how I yern for IT skills.
