Burghley from Solihull area

I'm looking at McDonalds Monkspath B90 4EL about 8, coffee, with a view to getting moving by half past.


M42 - M6 - A14 and so on looks a bit dull so I've come up with this:

Could do a twiddly bit to start but should one or two of you care to join me I thought keep it easy so still M42 as far as A45

Onto A45, past Coventry then left onto A4071 just before M45

through Rugby and out on the A426, cross M6 and towards M1 junction 20

Pick up A4304 to Market Harborough

then it's the A427 to Corby

final leg, A43 to Stamford

Nothing "set in stone"...... if you like the idea of a mini convoy but know some better roads shout up!


This is not just for S's, all and any TVRs welcome (but stay at the back)

I'm 15-20 mins away from MD Shirley but am meeting 12 others at 9am CV2 2SR and then a route planned from there taking the less straight forward way

I'm Sure you would be more than welcomed to join our convoy but you would be the only "S" if that bothers you.

Would be nice to arrive in a larger convoy ...? If it works , see you at the trading post in Kettering about 10 ish ...don't know the turn out yet for Northants ...but it's normally healthy ...and I'll be there !

I would join you all, but it looks like the slave cylinder has gone for the third time in a 1,000 miles, so the car is stuck at home and no Burghley for me.
I'm getting royally annoyed with this car now

Appreciate the offer Jas, no problem mixing it with other TVRs but keeping a dozen or so cars together will be fun enough, as long as I get a couple of "takers" we'll do our own little thing thanks.
