I think Phillpot is a tiny bit jealous

Thanks for the compliments gents. All I did was project manage, fortunately I have surrounded myself with a good team (of 1!)

Add ons that Liam fitted when he owned the car. Surprisingly for Liam they were not stuck on that hard (!!) so he was able to get them off to re-do the dash, which was lucky because they were hard to come by several years ago and I think are impossible to find now.

4 new tyres today ready for MOT on Friday (that's 6 this week including the 2 new ones for my bike yikes).

Now I wonder who could've worn the rears down to 1-2mm of tread...? confused Any ideas Adrian? scratchchin

Lets look at the evidence!

They had more than that in December

Where has it been since December (until very recently)

Has it been anywhere where it is referred to as the 'race car'

Wasn't the 'other' car getting some 'go faster' stuff done at the time

Shouldn't need much deliberation by the Jury judge

Can you make your point a bit more clearly Adrian...?! hehe

Currently sat in waiting room while new rubber fitted. Off to MOT in a moment :fingerscrossedsmiley:

It's apparently a perfectly natural phenomenon.
My son's Scooby tyres turned to slicks in just one morning at a place called Oulton Park.

Whether it was his continual shouting for "more power!", or the park's road surfaces are particularly abrasive, I have no idea. His rubber just seemed to disappear.

I wonder if any GTS members have experienced this strange thing.

Traffic chaos meant I missed my slot at the MOT place and they were fully booked from then on. I'll need to go through the whole nervous build up again next week grumpy

Well there was a bit of chaos recently over the Burghley weekend when the Rutland Rumble rumbled into town from all directions!

New tyres were fitted in P'boro and I got stuck getting from there to MOT place in Oakham wink
