Hi, I'm new to the forum lark, and new to the TVR world. Ive taken the plunge with the purchase of an S3, cooper green, magnoia half leather. To date ive driven, filledup the tank, driven, got worried about a fluttery pressure gauge, realised the bonnett needs resetting, checked all the fluid levels, driven, filled the tank, driven, Oh and grinned so much the misses thinks ive a coat hanger stuck in my mouth.

Hi Bil,

Welcome to the S forum and well we are a bit of a club really too.

You have made a great choice of car, not that I'm biased at all and I'm sure you'll still love yours as much as I do 3 years on.....

There is an Xmas raffle to win lots of upgrades for your S, so why not check out the thread at the top of the list and have a go, good luck!

Alright Bil, welcome to the Club mate! The S's are fantastic (especially the cooper green ones! ) I picked up mine in July, still grinning coathanger style as much the day I took ownership.

Once warmed up, have you noticed much popping and banging (a good thing!) - hopefully catch you at the next meet

All i can here is "burble..burble..burble..BURBLE..BURBLE" sorry hit the fast pedal at the end there!. It goes without saying i can also here "rattle...rattle..rattle" but thats with the hood up and ive not had chance to get the axle stands out to find the loose exhaust bracket which you can only here at 3.5K revs, funnliy enough at 4K it seems to go away, so problem solved.

Thanks for the pointer about the raffle kentish, if i can work out how the emial via profile works and i can find an address i'll put the cheque in tonights post, that should give parcelfarce plenty of time.

Hey Bil

re: the email, click on someones name, and you will be taken to their profile. Somewhere on the page will be a "click here to email me" link.

Click that, and you're away Mike (V8Smith) is taking cheques for the raffle, its him you need to email.
