Estorils on V8S
Discussion
Here they are in shadow chrome with Dunlop blue rinse (for the GTS) 205/55 and held up by the new/old suspension.

The quality of the finish is good but I would have been happier if they had more silver in them. You can see the shine “in the metal” but not really in the photo. Anyway the objective was to have a set of practical low maintenance wheels for the Euro-tours so in that respect it’s “job done”. Oil & filter changes to day so it’s just the air filter to clean and a bit of tinkering and we’re all ready to go

Looking very nice Joe
They really suit your body colour & give it a purposeful look . ( Well, the car's body colour! )
Have you set the rear ride height fairly high to allow for the weight of the Eurotour spares?
I'm gonna have to adjust mine higher as I think they have settled quite a bit since I fitted the Gaz shocks.

No, that's just the way the car sits. The slightly lower profile tyres accentuates the wheel arch gap. See......Overall though the car does sit a bit higher as evidenced by the clearance when the bonnet is opened ie there is some!

...............How are they weight wise, OZ's are quite lite...
Good question. I forgot to weigh them before the tyres were put on but with tyres the Estorils are 4kgs heavier per wheel. The steering is much lighter and the turn in quicker now. I'm assuming that's downnto the tyres but maybe the additional rolling mass has an effect?Gassing Station | S Series | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
