New Member MOT Success

As a new member to this forum and S2 ownership I wanted to share my MOT success.
Having bought my S2 from Longers in December 2013 I have been getting to know my car and enjoying it as often as I can.
Yesterday was the big day and despite being very nervous, the car sailed through the MOT with no advisories!
Will get some pictures loaded soon.
As the sun is shining I am off for a blast, be rude not too really!

Thanks for the suggestions guys, next weekend I am off to the Goodwood Festival Of Speed and will be at a wedding on the weekend of the 9th of August.
Seriously thinking about the Euro tour next year and trying to get to some events later this year.
Frustratingly couldn't make Burghley because of holidays and the same for S Club which I think is in August too.
Hopefully will get to see some of you at an event soon.

Welcome to the forum. Strangely a couple of the guys on the recent Euro Tour asked if I'd heard from you and then my wife asked the same thing last week!

You are please it got through the MOT? After the work Liam (Mr Plow) did on it 6 months before you got it, so am I!!!! Glad you're enjoying it. Has the huge grin subsided from your son's face yet?

Ian,
Been using the car most weekends and apart from a couple of electrical niggles it has performed faultlessly.
I am keen to find out more about Liam's 10 year parts and labour warranty, that paperwork was not in the extensive history file!

Would have liked to have done euro tour this year but was already committed to a holiday.

Had lots of positive comments from other TVR owners who are impressed with the condition of the car.

SwimmerS2 - Retro Warwick 2013 looked good, did you go? Looked like quite an eclectic mix of cars there. Just checked the calendar and it is on the 10th August this year and I have no other commitments that day.
Anyone else planning on going?

Hi Adam,

Yes we did go and what a lovely hot day it was, arrived early so parked up and sat outside Costa watching all the cars arrive.

We left early afternoon to vist a National Trust Property so managed to shake S2Mikes hand but didn't get a chance for a chat!

All being well will be heading up again on the 10th.
