Watch out, it's mighty slippy out there! Both this morning, and last night, when I applied the loud pedal with a little too much vigour at around 80mph, the back end of the car decided it did not want to follow the front.

Salt + damp roads = slippy

Be careful.

Salt + dry roast = yummy

Be careful.
You can never have enough warnings if you drive a TVR. Take note all new owners, the back goes out with hideous amount of ease. Ive lost the back end many times, only a little mind but wildfires warning is well worth bearing in mind with winter conditions usually being as poor as they are.

I can imagine it being a lot worse in a V8.

i had the Tiv's end out on Sunday.... But i was aiming to do it

My front wheel mazda was all over the shop this this morning. The traction control light flasing each time I accelerated. I am convinced traction control is only a light on the dash as I was wheel spinning in third

Which after rebuilding mine last year probably means it will not surface until the stuff has been washed away.

Only if you venture outside your centrally heated garage.

It's great fun this time of year being able to get wheel spin in the first three gears pretty much on demand, makes it feel like the car has an extra hundred horsepower. Still on balance I think I'd prefer dry roads and a genuine extra hundred horsepower! This is the time of year that catches people out though, you're right to warn us.

I remember reading about TVR's back ends going out with ease many times, here and elsewhere before purchasing my S. Strangely, it was only after I had lost the back end several times that it 'clicked' - or that I realised just how easily it happens! ie Very!

Very very sad IMHO, unless you intend to keep the car for the next life that is .
Went out to today (waved at a nice black griff out too ). As I am off to sunnier parts for the next week I though I stretch its legs a bit by feck it was very slipery. However, as most of it was nice and progressive it was actually quiet enjoyable, but sometimes a little .
Get out there and drive the bloody things peeps I say

Had a "moment" coming off a roundabout and gave it a little too much in our S, the result was a slap on the legs from the wife but i was grinning too much to notice

p.s. not a scary as the griff sideways at 85 in fourth that i achieved on friday.

Be careful everyone and be safe

Dragged the S out of the garage this morning and took the scenic route in to the office.

Its not been raining but jeez is it slippy. Lots of roundabouts and LOTS of misbehaving from the back end =

What a hoot
