Does anybody know where you can get the interior light switch from. The one inside the door arc's.
Apart from going to TVR directly any ideas.

You have an interior light.....?

Next you'll be telling me that you've got a dip rear view mirror

To be honest Adrian I have one but keep it turned off, so when I am working on the car and leave the doors open it doesnt drain the battery!

I did hear a whisper that the S container had been sold so hopefully a supplier will be ready soon.

You mean the switches on the doors actually do work on someones car?
Out with the circuit tester soon then now I know they were not just for show!

I would be interested in knowing what the door switch is from, only my passenger door works

I might pop down the breakers and have a look at some old Fords

I replaced mine with ones from Halfwits. I re-used the rubber surround. I had to re-position the drivers side one as it wasn't being depressed properley by the door.

I replaced both sides with Fiesta switches no problems and the light works perfectly.

Ah, those were the days... maybe mine was the luxury model fitted with the full electrics and safety packs?

Colin - - anybody,
I've got a similar -ish problem! Basically the two contacts on the switch do not always 'meet', I presume from mechanical wear (as its the drivers side and wiggling the red plastic 'button' gets it working again).

Tried to remove it w/end B4 last, and it looks like mine is held onto the body by a BA size nut and bolt.

Is this true? If so, how can you undo the thing? Surely its not a case of removing the door to gain access/drill out? Any tips?

I bought my Tiv late September. I told my friends and relatives for a month that the car didn't have an interior light ... and then I happened to take the roof down to feed the seat leather and had a Eureka moment - the rollbar effectively hides the light from view. And it works perfectly, if somewhat dimmed by the bar.

I like cars where you find something new each week.

Mine is the same - the passenger side works occasionally but the drivers side not at all. If anyone know's how to get it working properly again I'd be grateful for some pointers...
