I read on a thread posted after the draw that a rule was introduced at the time of the draw that you had to be present for it to qualify.

Is this correct?

I for one said in advance that I was away and was asked to send my money before leaving the UK which I did (I even asked the taxi driver to divert into the village to the post box on the way to the airport) and I do believe that others also said they were unable to make it for the draw.

A bit unfair on those who couldn't be there isn't it?

Those who were unable to attend were in effect entering with no chance of ever being included in the draw. Perhaps they should have been told this in advance?

Something to bear in mind for next time.

Sorry but it didn't read that way, not to me obviously but I haven't read all recent threads having been away for a bit!

Well it certainly got me

Congrats to the winners, looking forward to seeing the result on the individual cars.

That too was only a joke, I wouldn't touch it at all!

In fact I'd advise anyone going to Jamaica to not try bringing anything back with them. I didn't of course and I was searched 3 times!

Bloody Jamaican security infant had all my wife smalls over the table in front of everyone checking their luggage in. Not very nice really. I'll probably stick a few mouse traps in the cases next time.
