What a strange day. I have just been out for a walk from my house to St Pauls and on the way home started talking about my beautiful old S3 that I sold in October....

Lo and behold, the old girl was parked up outside the Town of Ramsgate pub on Wapping High Street!!! It stirred up lots of emotions, that's for sure.

So Toby, if you read this - drop me a line - I'd love to hear how my old P&J is doing. Hope you are enjoying her.

Likewise, mine went up to Lincolnshire, and seems to have vanished without a trace!

I'm in Wapping and have yet to be PH spotted.

Even despite going out with the roof off over the weekend ... brrr ...

Anyone else brave it?

Yep roof-off this morning once I'd scraped the ice off the cover and fianlly got the door unfrozen from the rubbers!!

The hood cover from a certain Basildon based supplier of accessories and shiny bits is bloody good.

No scraping, no unfreezing rubbers… two minutes to fold and you're off.

Hello Mel!

Thats really funny, I had spent the day driving around braving the cold and just fancied a wander around the docks with the new lady friend (this car works wonders )!! I parked there and made some joke about it being home sick. Drove past yours on my way home and thought it'd be funny if you'd seen her.

She's perfect has been great even in the cold. Needs a few bits and pieces in time for the MOT but all good so far.

I'll make it to a meet soon, just waiting for the back of Xmas and the stack of work for January to die down! You can take her for a reunion spin then

Hope the memories aren't too sore ...hehe!

In some ways, I was glad that the car was going to a home the other side of London as I don't think I could bare seeing it around my way whilst not being able to drive it!

It was like seeing an ex that has gone off with someone else, you want to know how they are doing, but on the other hand you'd rather not know how much fun your ex's partner is having with them!!!

I still haven't updated my profile, but unlike Podie, I guess I've consciously decided to keep the picture of the old girl there till I can replace it with another beast. :sigh:

Good luck for the MOT - I'm sure it'll be absolutely fine. That car is thankfully pretty solid.

Thanks Toby - it would be lovely to see you at a meet - you should come to one of our Wapping drinks do's - they are a real laugh and whilst it's a bit of a way for you to come, they are always a night to remember (that's if you can remember in the morning...).

Keep in touch.

As long as it's not a real spin - that sounds cool!

I'll try to make it to a meet in the New Year - it's been a long time....
