wheel / tyres and offset are you using?

I'm looking to another set of wheels and tyres - would like the rears to fill the arch more than the standard 7 x 15 ET29 slots with 205 60 15 tyres

So what size/offset do you recommend - don't mind 15s or 17s

generally an odd size for tyre availability I think

Got 16's on my splits, and use 225 45 to keep rolling radius.

question really is : has anyone gone for a different offset to bring the outer edge of the wheel/tyre out towards the wheelarch...I figure could come out 20mm and look much better. I don't much want spacers.

Phillpot's Minilite style wheels sit nicely in the arches, I can't remember the offset, but it does bring them outwards. I think he has thin spacers as well.

I have to use thin ( 2mm? ) spacers on mine, otherwise my new wheelnuts bottom on the studs before the wheels are tight.

I actually have 20mm spacers all round, so the equivalent offset wheel would fit under the arches nicely. In fact I originally had 225/60/15s tucked under the rear arches, on the standard 8 spoke OZ wheels., along with spacers and extra long studs.
