Would these fit?

Anyone tried? A lot cheaper than the CX ones if they do fit.

By the look of where the wires are, the shape and length of the mounting bolt you'd have to modify both the door and the mirror.

I think the narrow base would also be a problem; unless the door was strengthened there would be flex.

There are actually lots of mirrors out there, both original to cars, and aftermarket (try Car Builder Solutions or Demon Tweeks for ideas) which would look good on the S. It is really just a question of how much trouble you are prepared to go to to modify the car/mirror to make them fit. I opted for the fairly easy MX5 mk1 mirror, but even that requires small mods to the door and paintwork.

Incidentally I have listed my old mirrors on ebay just in case they are of use to a PH S member who has a broken mirror or glass.

Definitely not! But I'm sure I've seen one or two Corsas in the UK. Maybe I was imagining it laugh

Look forward to seeing pictures of that. The Corsa ones caught my eye because they are smaller than the Fiesta ones and have detachable covers which would make respraying them easier - maybe.

I wouldn't think the door would flex very much, isn't it ~5mm thick like everything else?

Aren't these a bit heavy for a racer? Or is it gonna be a part time racer come street car in which case very nice (still heavy mind but electric adjust and built in indicator which is pretty cool) do they have puddle lights too?
