Well, the conversion was an absolute nightmare but it is on and working. There are still loads of things that need fixing. It idles OK but is as rough as a very rough thing under light throttle at low revs and isn't really happy holding part throttle for long without a bit of a blip to clean it up. This may explain why I'm only getting 10 mpg. It's pinking a bit under load sometimes which is a bit of a pain, running Optimax has helped but not complete cured it. Haven't tried the water injection yet but that might help until I can get the fueling and ignition timing sorted.

On the plus side, it sounds absolutely evil with a steady but very lumpy idle, and plenty of pops and bangs from the exhaust in gentle pootling, and a massive 'Darth Vadar' induction roar. The noise under acceleration is quite unsubtle, from inside there's a distinct whine almost drowned out by a very harsh bark from the exhaust. Haven't heared it from the outside myself, but apparently the guys in the workshop could hear it from a couple of miles away during the test drive.

Pictures to follow when I get some daylight and figure out how to post them on the interweb ...

PS it goes quite well too.

I'll see if I can get some pics tomorrow, and maybe a short video while the engine is still in one piece.

Mark Adams Tornado chip, just need to find the time to get it booked in for the rolling road!!! Also a set of Chim 16"/15" wheels which are getting refurbed now so should have them next week also a new Personal steering wheel and the Leven heated seat cover. I also got the TVR4print calendar with a very tasty car featured for May, a V8S print with my reg and some TVRCC goodies!

Been away now since Xmas so looking forward to getting back and trying them all out.

Pete sounds like a real monster, what exactly did you have done is it a supercharger (sorry if it has been mentioned before but like I said I am away and not checking everyday.)
