S2 for New Year!
Discussion
Last night, after a final test run, I bought Tim's (BERGS2's) car; with new Cerbie throttle pot, she was running beautifully.
Not the most sensible purchase in the world given other pressing financial commitments, but I fell for the car the first time Tim started it up. Here's hoping I can afford to keep her for a decent amount of time (beer budget being severely cut back in 2005).
So, formally, hello all, and hope you won't mind answering many idiot questions from a new owner. The help so far on this forum has turned the experience of buying a TVR from cold-sweat-inducing to pleasant-and-fun. Hope it will do the same for the experience of atually running the car!
cheers,
Harry.

Welcome...I bought my S2 in the Autumn, and had some of the same concerns you have. To be honest, once you start driving the car all the worries go out the window!
The sound of that V6 with the roof down...there's nothing like it!
I am taking mine in, in the spring for a service, I am also having a power boost valve fitted, which I am told improves the mid range, for not a lot of money...I'll let everyone know the results
Enjoy.....

Hood down
she'll be missed -
But its really good to know that she is going to be taken care of by a real enthusiast and thoroughly decent bloke.
All the best with her Suresh, I hope you have as much fun (& hopefully slightly less heartache
) as I did.
Tim (the soon to be former owner)
