I've got to do something about my manky looking wheels, can they be repolished? or do I have to get them sprayed

Depends how bad they are - a strip and re-lacquer might do it.

I did mine last year myself - www.tvrgit.com (Diary, September 2003) shows how. They looked absolutely stunning.

Unfortunately, because I don't have a garage, they deteriorated over the winter so I had them diamond cut and refinished by Spit and Polish in Kent - about £45 a wheel, but they came back like new.

should add that you can courier them down, and they will return them to you... I'm a lot further from Kent than you are!

I'd recommend B.J.Vallack every time, and they're based in Hemel as well.

Would definately agree, I had mine done at BJ Vallack last year, originally wanted them diamond cut, but they didnt come up very good, so had them powder coated in 'black chrome' would highly recommend it....very shiney and low maintenance!
