What is the pretty red TVR on the left just below the big picture? Looks like it has a folding roof too.

That's a 3000S , forerunner of our S. Indeed with standard folding roof.

It uses removable sidescreens and I think the frame is based on one from a Jensen Healey?

If that's the case then there was one of these at the Palace in Germany last year. Paul (I think) and I measured the set-up then and the inside of the tub, and so the folding frame, is quite a bit narrower than than our's.

It's a proper S, all your later ones are just pastiches!
True, windscreen is a cut down Jenson Healey item, it has detachable side screens, 258 came with the Ford 3 litre plus a further 13 turbos. That car has been fitted with a Ford 5 litre V8 and is rather brisk.

It is lovely, but I doubt he would ever sell it. There is one in Germany with a full 4.5 Tuscan racer spec Rover V8, black with purple leather and also a bit quick. There is a good mix of standard and modified cars out there, a lot in Europe and the US, and some very long term owners.
