Check here to see what a new one costs... www.actproducts.co.uk/ ...then base your bid on that.

Its going up...... from £100 to £150 in the past 15 mins I guess everyone has woken up now.

Still not a bad price, it cost me nearly £100 to get mine rebuilt!

Looks the same as mine as well but I would be
nervous buying such an item because allthough
the SS lasts for ages, how many times has it
been whacked?are any of the baffles loose and
rattling etc etc and its allready up to £150.
Maybe a chancer at £100 but no more surely.

Doesn't look like a JP/ACT exhaust they have fully seperate pipes down to the main box, which is also rounded.

A general question here....

Is a straight through system called this because a perforated pipe passes straight through the silencer box, whereas an ordinary exhaust will join the box and the gases pass through the silencer box itself which is full of baffling and there is the exiting pipe joined to the other side of the box taking the gasses out again?

Pretty Much, in Extreme cases the perforated pipe isn't even perforated Not sure what mine is, but it is a straight through system and it's damn loud.

When the car runs.

Not much in by exhaust, see thread below for pics. Front box is empty, and only half the baffling is in the rear part. Sounds nice

It's gotten louder since , soon I will be back. Must get a noise meter to test it.

Just had a look through my folder of invoices and my exhaust wasn't replaced like I thought, it was in fact a new set of manifolds and downpipes from JP.

Looking through the folder again, my car has nearly a full main dealer TVR service history ...I was impressed!
