Rob,

I know it's not really for plugging your car but how about selecting a suitable thread in general gassing and post your link to the ad.

Like so: - www.pistonheads.com/sales/detail.asp?i=33905&s=99

There are always threads like "best sports car for around £10k" and similar.

I did for my VW TDi Passat and I've had several genuine enquiries but up until then I had no responses to the ad at all. Difference is the thread I posted on said something along the ines of "what cheapo £700 diesel runabout"

Good luck

Kentish, good idea mate. Ive not been about much, busy with work (its taken me half the morning read and start replying to Mrs Blue Cerberas enquiry). The first to see it will buy, but a post in general TVR is a good idea! All these canvassing calls are doing my head in

Have you considered advertising in Sprint? That's where I looked for my first TVR, and there have been very few V8S adverts in recent months.

Im a member of the TVRCC, have an ad on the site (I think) so it should be in sprint (free, automatically) next month, right?

Perhaps the release of GT4 will initiate a flood of new converts holding open wallets.

Don't worry too much....buyers are out there somewhere. I've had about half a dozen or so e-mails asking all the right questions (you do get well informed buyers through PH) and some seem very interested (although you never can tell). You've got to remember that whatever time of year it is there isn't a massive buying market for our type of car(IMHO). Whether it's a V8S or an S3 as much as we would like to spread the word that these are wonderful machines, the uninitiated probably wouldn't know what one was or that you could afford to to buy a bit of British muscle for such little money. Chin up chaps we will get our next TVR soon ( assuming the missus allows it!!)
