indicator stalk - anyone got one I can borrow?
Discussion
From your other post I reckon 5 minutes with a multi-meter should tell you if it's a switch or flasher unit issue?
Double check but I reckon......
Double Green is live to switch
Light Green live to flasher unit
LG & Brown from flasher unit
Green & Red LH indicators
Green & White RH indicators
Have you found the flasher unit? joining the two wires together should put the chosen indicator on constant (rather than flash).
Ignore the Purple wires, they're the horn.
Have fun

Cheers Glen
as you said 10mins and definitely the column switch
linking out the power from the flasher to each of the indicator circuits puts the lamps on.
Next question is how to strip and clean/repair the column switch??? as second hand / new are proving difficult to find (wonder if sierra mk2 can be made to fit?)

Yeah I'd noticed the different shape hazard button.
Took the plunge - I mean screwdriver to the switch and took it apart
only one item fell out before I could see where it fitted
stripped it down and full of dirty carboned contacts and solid grease
all cleaned and then 20mins of fiddling to get it back together
Having lunch then back to the garage to see if it now works
