It has merely been in intense training for life as an S sump!
Mind you I must admit the tight crease on the back of the deep section looks pretty dodgy to me.

Interesting how much carbon build up there is on the inside, mine was absolutely spotless when I took it off last weekend, just shiny steel.

I posted last weekend about getting a replacement as mine had a split in it where it had been worn away by the exhaust box. But having seen this one and a few others in similar 'condition' I decided to get mine welded, which is now all done and I get the car back on Saturday.
