Sorry for a down beat one guys.
Met Doug Ellwood at Autosport (David Gerald Ltd. - they own all the pre-Wedge jigs and parts business, and are now a main dealer). At very short notice he was asked to bid for the Wedge and 'S' spares last summer. He didn't get the bits and says the factory will not be supporting either models for spares in the future. Says at the turn of the year all the parts were in containers at the factory site UNPACKED and nobody knows who owns them. As someone who came into TVR via an 'S' I think you guys and the Wedgers need to campiagn to via the TVRCC and directly to get TVR to tell us what's happening. How can any owner of a discontinued model have confidence in the set up when this kind of c*** is going on (A Cerbera owner ie up next for dissing with the Griff/Chim bunch.)

They are still treating us all like mushrooms - you know in the dark and under the sh1t!

here here! I asked the question of a main dealer today about the containers......... "oh another of those mysterious disappearing containers" was the answer. They have no idea where the parts are and have referred me to David Gerald for some basic TVR parts as they haven't got them and can't get them!!

So what specialist parts will be in the container that you absolutely can't obtain elsewhere?

Personally, I have only ever bought a fuel sender and a gasket from a TVR main agent.

I think all of these so called "TVR only" parts can be obtained elsewhere. So, don't panic boys and girls. I'm sure we'll be fine....

You're wrong, actually Joolz. I have that car, but you missed out the supercharger, drive-by-wire control system and stealth technology.

The latter being why no-one has ever seen it, of course.

Actually my friend Martin Gilbert has the Last but one ever V8Sc built.
It is production number 23, registered in 1994 (M40 VBS).
The very last V8Sc built was written off the day he was due to buy it!. The Car now resides in Holland

Intersting Jason, been talking to the club archivist lately on-line re this, seems 15 were built in 94 after mine , which I find hard to beleive as its a spring 94 car trying to see where mine really is in all that .
When you say production number 23 what does that mean .

I understand they built 24 cars in 94. im not talking grand totals here, just final production numbers.

I have the chassis infomation here somewhere

Martin's rather nasty website is http://62.166.25.10/ on the right, is a garage TVR link. there are 4 rather old pix of his car taken the day he bought it
