I've had a recent conversation with Doug from David Gerald TVR who knows a thing or two about the S and he recommended standard 8mm leads to me. He also said that he has known the Magnecor leads to play havoc with the rev counter which put me off them a bit as I quite fancied a set of those. I would be interested to hear how others get on with them.

I ended up replacing the coil on my car which solved my problem although I think a lead change is inevitable at some point so will watch this thread with interest.

I went for the Magnecor KV85 leads. No issues to report.

I see no advantage from splashing your cash on Magnecors, stick with reputable brand like Bosch, Lucas or Motorcraft (if you can still get them).

Only thing you need to look out for is that the king lead is long enough, you probably won't find a set listed for TVR so will have to go for Capri or Sierra etc.

I'd agree Magnecors won't give you any advantage to performance etc, but it's more the durability of them that I like. I've got a set on another car which have been on it 10 years, and give them a clean and they could be new.

And has the right end connections!

If I remember correctly I bought standard leads from a Motor Factors for about £17 5 years ago and had no problems.
