Just going through the list of bits to make sure I've got everything ready for a speedy reassembly, I've found details for the exhaust rubbers but can anyone tell me what bolts I need?

Can't for the life of me find the ones I took off.

Do any bolt suppliers stock the correct size for trailing arms? Had to cut off most of these. Rather pricey from the TVR places.

Also wonder if anyone has any recommendation to get some stainless de-cat pipes made up in the Nottingham/Derby area, current ones have some weird clamps and leak.

Thanks in advance.

There is nothing in the wiki for the exhaust, and although there are details for trailing arms, I can't find them at any of the usual suppliers.

A few weeks ago I read on here somebody saying that Land Rover Series 1, 2 & 3 rear spring shackle bolts were perfect for the trailing arm, cheap and readily available. Also the LR bushes will fit.
Try the search, "S Series trailing arm bolts landrover
Rarer than Sherpa indicators? is one of the threads.

HTH you Lawrie.

Decat pipes can be obtained from JP Exhausts in Macclesfield, they have all the jigs if you explain what you're after. But they are very busy at the moment with the start of the racing season.
Have you tried plenty of exhaust assembly paste?

To go with the rubbers?

They are M10 by about 60mm ( buy set screws, fully threaded, plenty long enough and can always cut down). You'll need "Nylok" nuts because they are not tightened, just pinched up.

I used the Land rover shackle bolts a few weeks ago.

Got them from a landrover specialist in Liverpool £4.08 for the four.

Let me know if you need the address/part number I will dig out the invoice.

Apex fasteners in Slough stock a huge variety of strange sizes. They should be able to post them out to you too. They don't have a website so you'll need to pick up the phone and call unless you want an excuse for a drive out. If that's the case, not sure why you'd want to go to slough though wink

OT: That made me chuckle hehe
I used to regularly pass through Slough years ago. I spent ages sat in stationary traffic pondering what it must be like to live there.
That was before Ricky Gervais came along to cheer up everyone in the place. biggrin

Thanks for all of your responses.

Missing pieces should be arriving over the next couple of days.
