It was pointed out to me today at S Club (sorry can't remember who it was, useless with names) that my dash is different to everyone elses that was in attendance. Just wondering if anyone else from the wider community has one the same or if anyone knows why?

Note position of glove box.

Top marks to Alan and Glen, thanks for the hard work organising a great weekend!

Not quite the only one Lawrie, I was there too! This is mine.

There aren't many with the gloveboxes like ours and goodness knows why TVR experimented with them but hey, they are all different. Admittedly you have a more 'upmarket' version with a lock but that could have been fitted later? The only other one I have seen, besides yours today, belongs to tvrgit.

Hi Ray, good to meet you too!

Stu, you must have arrived after I did my research, your's looks in better nick than mine wink How does yours stay closed without the lock? The quality of the lock fitment could suggest aftermarket but then again...

Do you have a lock tvrgit?

So that's three of us, the limited edition price tag is falling... whistle

That makes yours positively common.

If we're looking for unique mine is the only one I've seen with vinyl (ambla) interior AND the only one with a factory fit luggage rack!

Unless someone knows better?

No lock - I think they were originally a "push to close / push again to open" invisible latch - I managed to find the original latch part no and bought a couple. It works fine until somebody decides to prise the bloody thing open with their fingers and detaches the latch from the back of the flap (it's only glued).

This is the same as mine so pretty sure it's original, although it appears TVR chose the flimsiest/cheapest catch they could find. No real surprise there!
