Hi All,

I have successfully managed to remove the head to get at the leaking core plug. Unfortunately, the inlet manifold has seen better days. Its quite corroded and looks like someone previously has been at it with a gasket scraper. Lets just say the flat machined edge that meets the cylinder heads is not as smooth as it might be. Probably explains why it was seeping oil out of the joint. Anyway, I don't suppose anyone has a spare 2.9 inlet manifold they would be willing to sell me?? I think there are two types. Mine is the one that has 3 bolts (rather than 4) connecting the fuel rail to the inlet manifold.

Let me know if you're interested and whether you'd like me to have a go at that stud or you'd rather sort it yourself?

ETA that stud doesn't do anything on my engine, the hole is empty!
