Id been wondering about jobs, people, money lately (Im happy with my setup, trippled turnover every year for 3 years ) but have a read mate of my post (which I hope doesnt come across as being too arrogant, and wasnt pointed at you directly). You mentioned work and money and your car in the same sentance. Like the others said, a lot can happen in 6 months. Why not bust a gut searching for your ideal job, write down what you want and can reasonably expect, add 15% and go hunting! Good luck whatever happens mate, and keep us posted.

Pies, what a bummer! There's always a way to look at things that makes a bad situation good, you'll see. Eventually, when things work out fine, you'll be thinking, 'Hmmmmm, maybe if that crap phase hadn't happened I wouldn't have got to where I am now'. Like someone said earlier, it'll make you stronger definately.

If you do hold on to the 's', just think how much more you'll appreciate it. Now where's that bottle of polish......

I think this is at least the third "There won't be any S owners left" thread I've seen since I joined, every time a couple sell up at the same time - and somehow the forum survives...

No aspersions at the sellers - I hope you're moving on to bigger and better things (Bob's Cerb for a start).

Hopefully my S3 will complete its comeback from the dead in time for summer.

I'm sure there will always be a good quorum on the site. I would never have been able to get as far as I have with the restoration without all the helpful advice I have received from everyone here.

Hi Colin,

Sorry to hear your news and I'm sure you'll be able to settle somewhere suitable soon but in the interim, if the idea of parting with the S is because you have nowhere to keep her off road, then you are welcome to use my place. It's nice and secure and there are security cameras overlooking the drive and garage etc.

hey Pies.......... dont despair and mope about..... thats why we have wives they are bl**dy experts at it.

You could sell yours and then buy the white one up for sale (from the channel islands) for loads less and pocket the difference.......

Anyhows s**t has a way of not happening when you expect it!!!

and if you think you really will have to get rid of it........... get it back on the road rather than SORN and it!!!!!
