Looking for a S3 / S3C
Discussion
Morning all. After 10 years away and now over my Italian car phase and also having to fund a house build, I'm after a late S.
I'm looking for some summer fun back in a TVR. I previously had a 350i, 350SE, 400SE and a Chimaera so am more than comfortable with TVR's unique features but have never owned an S. However they are very pretty little cars.
So I'm after ideally after a S3 or 3C in a blue or green with a light interior, cream or tan. However there seem to be far fewer around now days, perhaps people are holding onto them or they've they've sadly suffered from terminal chassis rust and, with their values, have not been worth repairing.
Thus if anyone knows or looked at a good car that might be available, please drop us a line. Thanks in advance.

Now I've started looking, does anyone know anything / history about this car:

A nice colour inside and out but we all know that's not where the problems lie.
Thanks

To be honest, AutoAndy, the 355 was a fantastic car but I'm now after a convertible that is useable at sensible speeds, not warp-factor 11 down the Somerset roads. I'm still looking to get a big GT as well but this is to be a daily bit of fun. I looked at Honda S2000, Alfas etc but knowing TVRs, they offer great value.
My last Wedge was the best example of this but you can never go back:

However, as we're off down memory lane, here are the previous ones, minus the 350i, which was before digital photos. The 4.3 Chimeara was a great car. They might still be around somewhere:

Hope the 350i SE is still around. I ended up with it by accident, offered it through a friend. The owner needed the cash for a deposit on a car and the garage had offered a ridiculous trade in. Couldn't say no!
It was 23 of 25 built, so one of the last and in pretty good condition. They had the 390 engine, but I may be wrong.

Found my ideal spec car but I dare not look at it let alone buy it. It looks a great car.

I want to drive my cars but as soon as this gets properly used, the value dissapears. I've just left the Ferrari world obsessed with low mileage and here we go again.
I've been offered some lovely cars but want to hold out for my desired combination so I'm still looking for a green/blue/dark red car with a tan/cream interior if anyone knows of any available. Even a V8S would fit!

S's are meant to be driven...that one should have a better chassis than most but the mechanics of an engine that has only 4k miles in that time might actually be mor suspect...
If it works then don't worry..buy, add another 50 to 80k miles and then you will still sell it for more than you paid for it..they are appreciating...and they are intrinsically a great car...
