Clutch slave/master cyl set up
Discussion
Are you replacing with originals???? Unlikely. If replacing with alternatives you will have to check dimensions, in particular the relative position of the piston to the mounting flanges. If that is different to the originals you may have to adjust the rod length to compensate. If you are converting to Series 3 Landrover then I would suggest you start by using your original pushrod at the pedal, rather than the Landrover one. You should then find the original pushrod at the clutch end will give enough adjustment to get the feel right. At first the clutch end may feel too long but try it before making any adjustment. One small point, make sure the clutch pushrod is in good condition where it meets the clutch arm, and the adjustment is free to move BEFORE inserting it. It is a pain to remove again once it is all bolted up.

My local factors are useless !
Yeah, fancy not knowing what slave cylinder fits a 26 year old low volume production sports car!I really don't think it's the Motor Factors fault that most replacement part suppliers do not include TVR in their catalogues.
Pay your money and get the proper thing or search around the Forum for info on fitting the far cheaper Land Rover or Morris Marina items
