TVS S2 help need it. part name and where to find it.

Hi Guys,


Need to replace this part of my TVR S2. I have no idea what the name in English is. It is related to the cooling system.


Also, if someone could point me where to get one?

Known as an 'otter' switch - switches on fan.

Two types - One screws into the pipe and one fitted with a clamp

Or you could try an internet search for "Metro Rover Part No. GVS 104" and possibly find a supplier in Spain.

I agree with the advice above. I do note that there are four wires on the otter switch, normally there are just two. It looks like someone has wired in an extra switch so the driver can switch on the fan. It looks like the red wires are not original.

I am checking the website provided and will ask the mechanic if he can find in Spain the part as advice.

My guess is that it has 2 extra wires as previous owner installed a manual switch to turn on/off the fan.



Hope I can find it. I am in the process of leaving everything sorted out to register the car in Spain so I can pass the ITV. ( same MOT in UK ) and get my spanish plates finally.
