Electric window fault

Well its two steps forward and three back again, noticed that the offside leccy window wont go up or down, this has now spread to the nearside window. On depressing switch either way it puts on the telltale lights for rear fog and driving lights, will have to lift the centre console when i get back off holiday !

Sounds like a faulty earth somewhere behind the switch panel. Try lifting the window switches out and checking the connections. It might be as simple as that.
