Your old V8S, that is.

What a lovely car !! Looks absolutely stunning, sounds amazing. An absolute joy to drive.

Big thank you to Terry at Dream Machines, what a lovely guy.

Going out to get drunk now as I find that always helps with decision making.

Jeeez, not sure what to say

Gutted all over again (oh for gods sake pull self together! ) but am SO pleased its (potentially???) going to a PHer!

Give me a call either way, you have my number right? An unknown editor from an unknown magazine took it for an unbeknownst-to-anyone hoon recently, comparing it to another unnamed model, for a possible article review in said unnamed magazine! A gentle 'XXX vs V8S' review And from atop a BHP pinicle he did spake unto me in his own words to thine effect of "it was a lot more powerful than I had expected!!" For gods sake just buy it!

Didn't actually get that tiddly in the end, it was late by the time I managed to drag myself out the door. Plus I needed a nice clear head this morning for my drive in a Tuscan II.

I am truly having a TVRtastic week.

Any news Mrs Blue, you took my S out for a ride, what did you think and are you considering it, any other V8S's that you're looking at?

Hi Bob,

Yes, I took your old car out and absolutely loved it. But it was my first drive in a V8S and I just need to drive another one for comparisons sake at least. I have my sensible head on at the moment.

There's a private sale based in Guildford, plus another one down in Devon that I really like the sound of, but its just so hard finding time to see them as my husband is away in France at the moment and with two kids I'm having a logistical nightmare. Its not like you can take them with you is it ?! I am actually down in Devon week after next so definitely want to see this other one while I'm there.

I'm probably going to hand over to Rob Ingleby and ask him to find me the best one (which may well be yours). Sounds like he's got an excellent reputation and seemed like a nice chap when we met him last year.

I'm amazed that I'm feeling so calm about it. One thing is for sure and that is that I want one and aim to get one as soon as I can.

I'll keep you posted ....
