Nice, it will be very interesting to see the results. If the 'big brother' classic goes up in price it tends to drag up the price of the 'smaller' brother, a classic example being the Porsche 911 effect on 912 values.

This was a car advertised on the PH For Sale pages for £16k for a while. I guess it never sold but at that price, it was in the Griff and Chimp territory.

Did anyone get to look at it and if so, what were their thoughts about chassis and general condition as I've been looking for an S, either late 3 or even better a v8. Unfortunately due to work and distance I never got to look at this one. But, for me it is an ideal colour combination, exactly the same as my much loved 400se.

I think the estimate might be a bit strong as if it did not manage to sell privately at that price, auction prices tend to be lower as any buyer still has to stump up 10% plus vat on top of the hammer price.

Anyway, if anyone knows of a dark exterior / light interior car, feel free to drop us a line.
