Screw thread identification

Can anyone tell me the thread type that screws the gearknob on the V8 S with the LT 77 gearbox ?. I think it may be 5/16 unc ?. Also any ideas were a decent one can be found , plenty for the T5 box pattern shift, but alas none found for LT77 . The defender ones have a larger diameter thread insert

Thanks for that !. Decided to buy an aluminium Bearmach one for a defender and sleeve it to fit

Turned out to be 5/16 unf so have sleeved the aluminium defender one accordingly. And have the gate pattern too !
