Have been advised by my broker that they no longer do my policy so have to look around at renewal. Just made the mistake of trying to use the forum search "facility" (NOT!) so thought it's probably much easier to pose the question to you guys. Like most of you it will be a limited mileage classic car policy. Any recommendations?
Thanks,
Jeremy

Hi I'm with Lancaster on there Classic Policy after many years with Performance Direct. 3000 mile annual with Breakdown Cover (incl Europe)) was about £150 with 3 named drivers. Never had to use it so no idea if its any good. Performance Direct would not cover Europe breakdown with which I feel happier with Euro tour next week.

Admiral for me but I have 5 cars on a multi-policy, wife, 2 kids and two for me. They now advertise Classic Insurance so I may try them next year for the TVR only.

Actual TVR cost was £170 but the reduction on the other policies made it work to about £90 for 3000 miles, commuting to work included and two named drivers.

I'm also with Admiral on a classic policy (£130 for me and wifey 5000 mls), its basically the same as a normal policy but with mandatory agreed valuation. Also covers the driving of other "not owned or hired vehicles" which most classic policies don't include. One down side is that they do not do track day cover.

RH (Richard Hoskin) - recommended by some others in here.

Includes Euro breakdown and club track days, 5k mileage and agreed value. Roughly £200 ish - I always get dismayed with such threads because everyone and their dog seems to pay less than me.

Max - this is not so bad

I pay about £30 less for the same but no track day cover. Mind you this includes cover for Norfolk Boy Tim aswell.
