S3 Under Dash

Would anyone have a photo of the wiper motor location under the dash? I seem to have lost all the ones I took and there's bracket with a right angle fold (About 6" x 6") and I can't for the life of me remember what it's for.

That sounds like it could be the fuse box mounting bracket?

Wiper motor bolts to bulkhead with a U shaped bracket and a rubber pad, same as an MGB.

the wiper bolts vertically through the body above and to the left where your knees / shins are. The 6x6 bracket which is attached to the part of the body where the indicator side repeater is - for the fuse board to attach to (bit st really) some of us have relocated the fuse board to the upper surface of the footwell, poking through into the engine compartment - I'll post a photo later

Can ask you where you got the fusebox replacement from phillpot, as the ones I have seen do not have that many fuses in them.

I believe Mr philpot reworded the original unit added some relay holders and then had it mate with a waterproof casing of some kind.

He is a resourceful fellow..

Originally it was just the original fuse box turned around with a couple of extra fuse holders from a "scrap" box added on to make it a regular shape but I had a fuse or two melt which I put down to loose/corroded connections rather than anything serious so that was replaced with this and this




It's when the scrap of paper with all your notes on blows away down the street that you start to panic
