I recently bought a immaculate S2,unfortunately having used it for a while my doggy hip has fallen out with it(arthritis) could anyone tell me are the Chimaera doors wider and secondly best place to sell my S2 cheers Keith

I had an S3, replaced with a Chimaera now.

If anything the S was easier to get in an out of than the Chim, especially in the garage as the doors on the Chim are thicker.. The S3 does have bigger doors than the S2.

Where are you based? Why not pop along to a local dealer to try a Chimaera on for size, or shout on the Chimaera pages on PH and I am sure someone will offer you a go in one.

PH is perhaps the best place to sell an S2. Dealers are generally not that interested in them as they are difficult to make a profit on. Having said that if the Chim suits you, you find one that you like at a dealer, and your S2 is as good as you suggest there is always a deal to be done.

Willy at Tees Valley Region meet has an S3 with the longer doors. He can't get in my S1.

He will be doing the Goth Run on 1st Nov

Having had an S2 and a V8S I can say that it's easier to get into the V8S. It felt as if I was dislocating my ankle to get into the S2 as I have a little arthritis.

If it helps the Tamora is easy to get into.
