Well I've been out driving both Saturday and Sunday this weekend (roof always off) and I have to say what perfect weather.

And the forecast so far for next weekend looks just as good cool . Might still be driving it on Christmas Day at this rate.

Beautiful up North as well. Enjoyed a great run out to Whitby on the "Goth Run" with the Tees Valley TVRCC squad.

About 25 in total from The start then met up with quite a few others in Whitby. Nice to see 4 S's as part of the group, but didn't catch everyone's name. And good to catch up on the rebuild progress with Tony who was there in the Taimar.

I'm jealous as been having fuelling issues - so went for a short run on Saturday to check that the new fuel pump and filter (and expensive injector overhaul/test) had cured the problem smile however only managed 3 miles and then it stopped and although starts then dies frown so back to drawing board - only the regulator and tank to go..... I did check the tank when I had the body off and it had been clean. So home being towed behind a Range Rover and no Sunday run to Whitby mad

You get some terrific days out at this time of year - Chatsworth and today's Goth Run are just two examples. Had a great run after joining the N Yorks guys at Sandburn Hall and was well and truly Goth 'd in Whitby. Good to catch up with Ray and some other Ss.
I hope you didn't get that nice blue paint job dirty today Bob 😉
I really don't understand the SORN reasoning when most insurance is simply limited to annual mileage anyway.
Tony.

We enjoyed a fab day out today on the goth run too.

Ray - I should have introduced myself properly. I had the dark blue S with the TVR plate. I did speak to you very briefly before we set off this morning.

Yep, it was certainly a good day to be out & about cloud9

Also I'm quite pleased with this rather atmospheric shot....

I wonder who was driving the dark blue Chimaera that drove past the Pack Horse at Mellor about 3pm. ???

Hi Mick,
Are you absolutely certain it's a fuelling issue, and not electrical/ ignition LT ?

I had a very similar intermittent problem which started last year just before our Blyton track day in October.

Please see my new topic on here re Engine cutting out. Hope it is some help.

Good luck,
Glen smile

Hi Mick
I have a spare fuel rail and regulator on my spare engine if you want to try it. I cannot confirm they work OK as I have not had this one running.
Happy to post to the North East if it helps.
Tony.

Yep! Me too, except I still have my spare ;-) You can borrow those bits if think it will help to isolate your problem.
Cheers. Tony

Hi Alistair, I will, as long as you promise not to be spitting flames out of your exhaust and making noises similar to small arms firing shoot Each time you backed off the throttle I thought war had broken out!
